Description
Perhaps one of the most in demand cars at the moment, the Funky VW ID.Buzz is a new direction for Volkswagen, whilst still echoing the T2 which we all still love 50 years on !
Presently fitted with the 204 BHP motor and the 82 kWh battery only, this being the ‘Pro’ element of the cars description. I have found it to be quite sprightly for what still is a van and can easily cover 220 miles on a full charge (WLTP Range 254), along with 170Kw charging capability from a suitably powered DC Charger which can charge the Buzz from 5 to 80% in 30 minutes.
Our version is a Style, which should not be confused with the First Edition. Most current ID.Buzz on the market are the First Edition which were a fixed specification that could not be changed apart from the colour choice. Whilst the First Edition did have electric memory seats and the larger infotainment screen, it was missing a power tailgate and the dual level boot floor and neither could be added as an option, in fact nothing could be added as an option on the First Edition, so they do without these 2 absolute must haves in my opinion.
Powered Sliding Doors are included with this car in the optional Open and Close Package, a Power Tailgate and the dual height boot floor are both standard on the Style.
This example also benefits from the optional Assistance Package Plus which along with the standard Adaptive Cruise Control, adds Lane Keeping, Automated Lane Changing on motorways plus the much talked about Parking System Plus which can memorise and then automatically park up to 5 stored parking positions ! Front, rear & 2 side cameras are also included giving surround view.
