Introduction
The newest version of the ever popular Tesla Model 3, know as the Highland, was launched in February 2024 in the UK, and brings a raft up updates to keep the car in its deserved top spot.
Externally both the front and rear have been heavily revised for a new look, whilst underneath extensive work on suspension to reduce vibration and harshness transmitted into the cabin has resulted in a car with a much more premium feel and a significantly quieter cabin, also helped by double glazing now on all windows on premium versions such as this.
Inside sees the addition of, among a number of minor improvements and changes, ventilated seats in the front and a rear screen for controlling vehicle functions in addition to streaming audio and video via Netflix or YouTube – it also supports Bluetooth headphones.
Whilst retaining the same drive train as the outgoing model, tweaks to the cars bodywork and wheel design have resulted in some impressive gains in efficiency when compared to the previous version, resulting in the latest Long Range RWD, with its slightly larger 85 kWh Battery, achieving a very impressive real world range of around 380 Miles (WLTP range 466 Miles).
All in all a great update to an already market leading EV and with deliveries for new orders now extending into early 2027, this one is available now and represents a £5,000 saving vs. a new one.
