This 993 Carrera 4 Cabriolet is one of those cars that we term as a ‘rare find’- not only because of its low mileage and outstanding history, but also because it is one of the very last 993’s delivered to the UK at a time when the 996 had already been launched – having been shown at the 1997 Frankfurt Motor Show – the 993 was the end of an era for lots of reasons, but of course the main one being the end of the air cooled flat 6.
I first came across this particular car when the most recent keeper bought it in 2012, and after enjoying the car, albeit only using it sparingly, for the intervening 12 years but caring for it meticulously he searched me out as he knew I understood the car and how special it is.
We were delighted to see the car again and secure its purchase, I am confident there isn’t another one like it in terms of its condition, mileage and Service History – it has always been looked after by Porsche Main Dealers and has 24 recorded services with them in its accompanying 2 service books.
Additionally a delightfully full file of invoices and MOT’s back to 2002 confirm why it presents as well as it does, even though its now over 26 years old.
Without doubt one not to be missed and that must be seen – it’s probably unique.
